Another
inhumanity had happen to the animal who had ivory, that were elephant and
walrus. Both of this two animal had long and strong ivory that use to protect
themselves when meet potential predators. But nowadays the elephant and walrus
ivory is illegal trade and they are losing their basic weapon. For elephant
they use it for digging, foraging, stripping bark, as well as moving things out
of the way. But now human take their ivory for do commercial things. Example of
commercial thing are making ornaments, statuettes, piano keys, billiard balls
and Chinese medicine.
Because of
larger demand of the ivory thus the illegal trader go to Africa and Asian
country to kill the elephant and get their ivory.The elephant is kill because
they having the valuable ivory.At this year 2013 one pregnant elephant dead at
Dam Kiboko(Kenya)because of the ivory.The illegal trader shot the pregnant
elephant until dead.
Others
elephant that founded dead because the illegal trader take away the elephant
ivory tusks.
Is that
ivory is important in life?why disturb the elephant life and take away their
life as is that we had the right to take away the elephant life?the population
of elephant is decrease as year by year,the illegal activity to trade the ivory
has to be stopped and protect the elephant to let it life if not the future
generation had to view the elephant look through book only cannot even touch
and feel what is elephant about.
