Sexual abuse is means unwanted sexual activity, with perpetrators using force, making threats or taking advantage of victims not able to give consent. Most victims and perpetrators know each other. Immediate reactions to sexual abuse include shock, fear or disbelief. Long-term symptoms include anxiety, fear or post-traumatic stress disorder. While efforts to treat sex offenders remain unpromising, psychological interventions for survivors — especially group therapy — appears effective.

“The global prevalence of child sexual abuse has been estimated at 19.7% for females and 7.9% for males, according to a 2009 study published in Clinical Psychology Review that examined 65 studies from 22 countries. Using the available data, the highest prevalence rate of child sexual abuse geographically was found in Africa (34.4%), primarily because of high rates in South Africa; Europe showed the lowest prevalence rate (9.2%); America and Asia had prevalence rates between 10.1% and 23.9%. Sexual abuse leave a long term symptoms to the victims,this leave a big impact for them.and it maybe will also effect their future life,if others people know their past,they maybe cannot accept and feel the stress of the view of others people to them and finally will cause them walk through the way to suicide,they will think that after they died,no one will snobbish to them.

All the effect that cause by sexual abuse will cause the children when grow up,they will scare to communicate with others people as they will feel the people around them will hurt them,they will start to evade to communicate with social and trap themselves in room.they will resist to talk to stranger.they will be easy feel depression and anxiety.As the situation of depression and anxiety happen this will cause them became psychosis if did’t undergoes some psycho treatment.
